my favorite cider has to be the westons vintage stuff, and the fact they now do it in 3l boxes for £6ish is even better

Lager: A bottle of staropramen or pilsner urquel.

Beer: A bottle of Hobgoblin or OSH will do me fine.

And then ofcourse, nothing spells christmas in my family than a bottle of Jaeger and some Ramazzoti amaro.

i think tomorrow i will be mulling some cider... but tbh cheap stuff works best for that!!  strongbow, dark rum, brown sugar, cinnamon stick ,oranges and cloves... simmer it for 1/2 an hour.... sorted!

some porter or stout. Old Station Porter being somewhere at the top of the list.... or if I'm going non-beer perhaps a good port wine, or a warm mulled wine!?

Some family was over today so I helped myself to a few Sprecher Special Amber Lagers.  They tasted very good but I couldn't fully enjoy them with such a full stomach! :x

not sure if i should be responding to this seeing as i'm underage, but being in college the only choices i've got are natural ice and keystone. i'd go with the natty.
I've had more than my fair share of cheap beer in my day.  Sometimes you just gotta do what you gotta do.  Thankfully primates like us can fashion tools like beer bongs so you don't actually have to taste the stuff!

the keystone didn't really sit too well with me last night. also a bad idea since i had a final exam this morning at 8. i'm looking forward to hitting 21 and being able to buy the good stuff.

Cheap beer is fine for its sole purpose - getting pissed off :P Its not like anyone drinks lager for the flavour... is it?

Sigh... Lager doesn't have to be cheap lager.

A good stout or porter- the darker and stronger the better! Going up to York over the new year, so will be having some good pints of Centurions Ghost... mmm :)

The York Brewery has some great beers, D&L (ex-TO), Brow, Davey and I were drinking them at the 3 Legged Mare last year!

That's a great pub! I was there with the missus a few years back, she really enjoyed it, although I think I preferred the more traditional pub (i.e. one with carpet) around the corner which also had York Brewery beers. I always say that Yorkshire produces the best beers, even though it would break my Lancastrian mother's heart to hear that.

Jack Daniels straight will keep you warm when it's a bit chilly.
