Song idea riffage - Nailbomb content

Was hoping to get opinions on this before I go ahead and make an entire song out of it... I think I've heard something similar before, possibly Trivium but I can't remember. If you guys could give it a little listen and let me know if it's a rip-off of anything or not that would be cool.

to be honest i wouldn't say it sounds like trivium.

It is in a similar style but its also quite a bit fresher feeling

And BTW i love the end but it annoyed me that it ended there.

Hehe trivium arent all bad its more the fans.

It does indeed! I don't mind them either, but yeah you're right, it's the fans really I think.

I have done more to the song and I can honestly say it sounds nothing like any of their songs now so I'm happy, haha! Will update the soundclick later so you'll have to wait I'm afraid.

Aye I've got an old NJ series Warlock waiting to be 'bombed when I have the money as I won't do it myself at the moment. Don't wanna get it wrong.   :D   

I'll 'bomb it if the axe I'm making doesn't work out as well as I want it to, as I already have another set of 'bombs waiting for that one to be finished.

I like the song 'Wannabe Deity'. Yes it sounds alittle like Trivium or bullet but it's good.   It also sounds pretty good for a POD as they often make the guitar sound too processed.

i dont get why so many people hate trivium.... i like their stuff, and i certainly think the guys have talent.... what is so bad with the fans? what do they do? (justa q. im curious) n the song in q. i cant find but i like the others :D

Cheers Sorbz! Wannbe Deity is my bands fave at the mo but I have at least 2 new ones on the way which I think will contest it for the "best song" title, heh.

Prince of Shred, I don't know either, I actually like Trivium. Not heard the 1st album, but Ascendancy is good. Don't like The Crusade as much but I think Shogun is awesome! Pull Harder on the Strings Of Your Martyr is still my fave.  :)

pull harders intro on the drums... with a good pair of head phones on or a top set of speakers is awsome :D  i like all 3 albums n ember to inferno is ok but really bad recording quality..... i like gunshot :D

OK, I got the soldering iron out and 'bombed my NJ... sounds pretty nice so far but I need to crank it up a bit (yes even though it's through a Pod, hehe) to get the best out of it. I'll see if I can record a little something at the weekend. Only problem is I can't get this damn Floyd Rose to tune down to drop C#, I'm guessing there's some kind of science to it. Someone said I need to change the spring tension or something? I dunno, taking strings off and putting them on again was an art on it's own, hehe.
