Will do! Although it should read 'UP' to Manchester considering I am a Southerner!

I think I hate being indecisive.

Not aiming the camera at you when it's your solo? I'd get a divorce

.. and Martin had the solo on "Wanted..." (he has a slight air of Jack Dee, by the way!  )

I'll check, but I think that's the nicest thing anyone's ever said to me.
I'm funnier though.  :D

That's me!

I am indeed playing one, and it's bog standard. Only got it last Tuesday, a bargain from Promenade Music at £480!

Needs no pimping as far as I'm concerned.

Great playing, but I've gotta agree with some of the others, only Twinfan and the bassist actually look like they're at a gig. The singer especially needs to work on his stage presence (great voice, but he needs to be a bit more animated).

If I remember rightly (and correct me if I'm wrong) the band haven't been playing gigs for long. I really wouldn't expect a newish band to be majorly rocking out to start with. For me it's a case of being comfortable on stage first, playing the music well (which they do) and when confident with it that's when you can start working on stage presence at bit more. Nobody want's to see a guitarist (or singer) duck walking/moonwalking etc and playing out of time/singing out of key!

I remember for my first few gigs I was about as spritely as a wardrobe! Sadly I quit the band just as I was getting my confidence in playing live.
I think I hate being indecisive.

I reckon they will all be grooving on down soon enough. As has been said, it is a newish band and these things tend to come along naturally.

Thanks guys - it was only our second gig togther!  Although we've all played in other bands before.

I've just had some great pics from the gig sent through.  I thought this one was particular appropriate to this thread  ;)

the red tele is beautifull and sounds nice, i do think that tone doesnt suit the music you were playing though... it sounded a bit thin... it could have been the recording, as it all sounded a bit thin...

Tele's do sound thin on the bridge with the tone up full - it was a psuedo acoustic tone I was after  ;)

I thought the Tele sounded perfect on that particular song - cut through nicely.  :)

Tone is SO subjective!  The room was very odd - all concrete walls and a wooden laminate floor.  No delay needed, it was like playing in a large bathroom!
