Well i think im gonna stick a CS and Painkiller in my Les Paul. If its good im looking at the Nailbomb set to replace my dimarzio in my Petrucci Musicman. Im considering just sticking in a HD im my HSS maple neck/alder body fat strat. I might try that before i mod my musicman as it still sounds really good!

For a "more devastating" sound go for a Ceramic Warpig (pure evil in a pickup)

Dream Theater, Lamb Of God. No idea what SYL is, could be Suck Your Lemons for all I know.
I think I hate being indecisive.

Cheers for that - I'm assuming that's not a made up name!

Nope, although it sounds like it should be.  And technically Devin Townsend made up the name.

Haha great tune you chose their. Actually devin sound is a bit flubby for what I want. That warpig would be too devestating:)

Ahh-thank-you, it was between that or "Love?".

^I think this is exactly what you should do.  CS and Painkiller as prescribed by Tim, Nailbomb for the Petrucci MM, and HD in the strat.

(though if it were me I'd go for the CS set instead of the PK bridge, but I think that's because I've been meaning to try out the CS and already have a PK set on the way :?)

Tim emailed me today and recommended the PK over the cold sweat for that articulate focused tone im after.

Anyway, once my boogie is paid for at the end of this month and CS/PK is gonna join my Les Paul. Hopefully in time to record my rhythm parts for my bands new material, (its gonna be a bitch if the lead tone is better than my musicman because i cant get around enough on the Les Paul)  if i do i will be sure to let any guys on the forum who may be interested hear.

Thanks for everyones suggestions
