I'd actually like the hardtail Jem (apart from the ludicrous Vai logo of course) if it wasn't for that goofy looking bridge.

Ibanez seem determined to make their own over-fiddly hardware but a standard Gotoh hardtail would look fine and do the job perfectly.

I'm very interested in the Maiden sigs. If that Dave Murray strat had a rosewood board, it'd be ideal. Be interesting to see how much they cost - if they're reasonable, I might hold off on buying a US Deluxe HSS Strat like i was planning...

Just tried the 2008 Les Paul standard's. Very nice, tried 3 and the variation was quite large, but the best of the 3 was lovely. And seeing as they've been released so late they are more or less the 2009 anyway :)

Jackson Adrian Smith Sig.. White with Black plate and maple board.. PLEASE!!

Then I can sit at home watching "Maiden England" and play along to "Wasted Years" with a truly huge smile on my face. PDT_006 PDT_010

Hahaha, what can I say...I just can't get on with maple boards  :) I think I'd be having the rosewood necked Smith sig, and swapping the pickguard for a black one.

I like the look of the Dave Murray signature, but if it's accurate it'll have the vintage radius and frets, which I'm not too crazy about.

And thinking about it, did he ever put a Floyd on that particular Strat?  He's had black maple-necked Strats with Floyds, but I don't think he actually carved up the Kossoff Strat itself.

I'm not sure he ever did either. I think it still had the vintage trem on it. It says on Wiki he stopped using it in 1990, but since it isn't referenced that can't be definitive.

Found a pic (looks quite old) and there's definitely no Floyd on there

this is very nice! the other new RGs are ugly as hell itself... i hate RGs with pickguard, i am disgusted by plain neon coloured guitars with cheap coloured plastic knobs and stuff like that... the white one with maple fingerboard is better than the rest, anyway...

the new ESPs look great... i usually don't like "painted" guitars, at least not with the usual stock paintings full of skulls and flames, but the CZ series kicks serious ass! in particular i love the look of the viper... great!
EC401s look like EC1000s but are much cheaper, and this is a good thing...
as usual i'd never buy any signature model... and can't imagine who would ever buy a distressed pink guitar...
Mule, MQ, Stockholm, CS, RY, MM, PK, ANB, CNB, AWP, CWP, PiG90...

too many? ;)

The whole neon thing is to do with DiMarzio. They had the whole colored neon knobs etc. and since Ibanez and DiMarzio came together to make the DiMarzio/IBZ pickups I suppose they went one step further (or maybe backwards since they're shite?)

I love the idea with the CZ guitars, different ideas for each one. especially the rib cage like design on the Viper.

Are you talking about the relic Page Hamilton? I know a few people who are crazy about it, lol..

Getting so fed up of Ibanez using those abalone stripes down the middle to hide that the top isn't bookmatched... Sneaky bar-stewards.

Errrr? I think they're just trying to bring back the great 80s Ibanez styling. There's nothing particularly new about these guitars....
