I have a headrush and it is an excellent pedal. I use the looper and delay, but not the Tape Echo, mainly because it's harder to use. The looper is very easy to use and intuitive and you get about 20 seconds which is good for live use but I do run out of time at home trying to build up soundscapes etc, or longer jazz progressions.
You can't remove the last loop you have done but you can remove all of the loops back to the original which is good enough for me although if you make a mistake on loop 4, you do have to start back at loop 2.
You can't save your loops BTW or use delay into loop, the delay and looper are different functions.
Some of the other units have advantages in that you can save your loops or import your own drum loops etc like the boss one but for simple live looping the Headrush is fine. So it really depends on what you want for your pedal,
I'm tempted to get a boss also for home use and to use the HR as a delay into the looper.
