Parking at GAK Brighton
« on: January 07, 2009, 08:43:53 AM »
I've got to go to GAK in Brighton after lunch to chop in my combo,

having never been before I am a bit worried about getting somewhere close to park so I don't have too far to carry the amp.  Where would be the best place for me to park.

Cheers

When I last went ...(err,2001 probably!)... There was a little pay and Display in the street parallel to the one they're on. About 50 yards away IIRC.
You can always do the deal, then come back and park outside the front for a second. "Loading, Officer."

There's a multi-story carpark opposite, although i have just parked right in front of the store before (they recommended i moved closer than the multi-story, because it would be a little too far. You could probably do that, and park outside for a minute, drop the amp in, go and park and then go and sort the stuff out in the shop.

It has been a couple of years since i was there though, so parking may have changed since.

I am going to be too late here but the NCP is up the road about 300 yds. There is a little turning on the corner on the same side of the store where you can get parked if you are lucky-but the parking patrols are notoriously enthusiastic in their desires to ruin as many peoples days as they can.
