This is a clean tapping thing i did. Not band work, possible solo project. Tell me what you think anyway.

Its on the neck humbucker, i hope this shows some of the versatility of the pickup.

cheers

Dez

Alomost an accoustic tone. Nice. What did you use for delay/echo?

Gorgeous tone Dez... I love it. I look forward to hearing more along these lines. It’s so clear and defined... awesome.

Very nice tone there. I could imagine a nice creamy bass threading through that.

I think he told me he used a Line 6 POD. Amazing sound and its made me want a new amp, after realising my clean sucks compared to that

Hey Guys

Thanks for the comments. The ditty itself was pretty off the cuff but yeah the tone does sound bloody good if I do say so myself!

It is indeed a POD XT PRO with a bit of fiddling on one of the standard piezo sounds but its all about those nailbombs! This is what true versatility is!

HJM, Stanley Jordan is pretty cool but he does some weird stuff (Cornucopia). He has the guitar tuned to fourth's doesn't he? (EADGCF) I think it makes the steps easier when you have two hand tapping all across the board.

I quite like what Guthrie Govan, Adam Fulara, and Bob Zabek do in terms of two hand tapping. But I'm not very good at it yet

Yeah that's right. His first album is about the best, jazz standards with some cool improv solos....

I have a friend who arranges classical pieces tapped - it's amazing. I can never stop sounding like Day at the Beach!

Cheers guy for the comments.

Yeah that is all the POD XT Pro. No effects or eq from any outboard processor. I didnt really mess about with settings too much either, just got a tone i liked straight away and just pressed record. I think that the POD XT has some of the nicest clean sounds in the world, i think that is a very bold statement. But from what i have heard alot of people use them in studios for cleans and from what i have heard they are one of my favourites.

As for a tab, i can give rough fingerings and chord shapes but for rhythm and some of the licks i cant help. I improvised the whole thing  so ill try what i can. You may hear this song recincarnated soon....we shall see.
