Yeah liked the neck..unique sounding wood...compared to say a normal strat..but definatly worth a try to see if you like

I believe that its basswood with a koa veneer

Warmoth comes in very expensive though...  especially if you go for the nicer stuff.

i have some nice fiddleback tazmanian blackwood that would work particularly well in that style

It is indeed. Made in Korea in the same factory as the Lite Ash Teles and Strats.

If you did make Strat bodies on request, how long would it take? For a clear finished one, no fancy paintjob or anything.

i am not currently giving myself deadlines, i know it sounds arrogant but i still have another full time job, am setting up a new workshop and planning a wedding at the moment.  also, finishing can sometimes create delays - especially when its done in nitro

probably about a month before finishing
