Forget what I said on the other thread. That looks the ticket right there. If only Boogie believed in KT-88's, I'd sell a bollock for that.

I have to say it looks nice, but how much it costs in the UK, will be a huge factor !

I am sure it's biggest problem will be the shared EQ section. Pricewise it will be competing with channel-switchers with dedicated EQ for each channel.

What is the tonal trait of the KT88? I know Jimmy Page rigged his 1959 marshall with them.

speaking of single channel amps...

http://www.thomann.de/gb/jet_city_amplification_20h.htm

i'd be interested in hearing one of those.

I don't quite trust the "Keep It Simple... Without Imposing Limitations." line from mesa.
to me that means 'make it look simple on the outside, make it slightly complex on the inside'.
at £2k is up there with Cornford's right? both the MK50 and the RK100.

I bet those Soldano-designed Jet amps are really nice - at under £250 for an 18w valve head they're surely onto a winner with that one.

hmmmmmmmmmmmm

hmm indeed, didn't sound very good to me.  hopefully its just a bad demo, but a bad demo by the manufacturer  :(

for the same price (£250) I'd buy a Blackheart Handsome Devil... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C8hZBPIPQXY

It sounds/feels very good in person-lots of different tones/easy learning curve(as opposed to a Mark amp,for ex.)-hard to dial in a bad tone-it IS simple and sweet-gonna get me one soon -stay tuned
"...major scales...what's that??"- Doug Aldrich
-Rebels,VHII, Mules,Milks,Bombs,and Boogie C+'s!!

Just watched this, it does sound very good.  Especially because the master volume looks pretty low, I imagine if it was cranked it would sound great.  Also imagine if it was cranked Mick Taylor wouldn't be sat right in front of it!

I'll never have a 2k map though!

There's a lot of great amps out there for a lot less money... I still would bite your hand off for it though.

Never owned a Mesa Boogie until recently, having played marshalls and Fenders for 30 years but I do love my little Mesa Boogie Maverick. Sweet, sweet little amp... although I've read it being described as the least Mesa Boogie sounding Mesa Boogie. So that might be a good thing.

I really liked those Mavericks, great amps.  My mate head one of those in a head, but it wasn't loud enough for him.

Yeah... not deafeningly loud but plenty loud enough for me. seems fairly rated at 30 watts... but a great sound.
