i find the opposite - once you go to 25.5" you never go back.. ;) its all about that extra tightness!

Here is mine. Caparison Horus. Right now it has a Caparison PH-r in the bridge and a Dimarzio Fast Track 2 in the neck. I have a BKP on the way for it though. Not sure which one though. Either gonna be a C-Pig or a Paiiiiiinkillaaaaaahh with battle worn black cover. I have the C-Pig on order, but asked Tim if I could switch my order to the PK, but haven't gotten his response yet. It may have been too late to change my mind, but whatever one I get I will be happy.

You probably could ask for a luthier sharp the neck a little... But it can change the tone (depending on how much of the wood you take off) how much thick is it?
really thick and round. Maybe as thick as a gibson 60's... maybe thicker. And i wouldnt want it shaved down, its painted so it would make a mess. Plus i dont mind it. It sounds huge and feels right with the guitar.

Baseball bat neck eh?  I always assumed BC Rich guitars would have skinny necks.  I wonder if any of the other Mockingbird models have big necks?  :?
Only the specials have thick necks. They're designed to be vintage styled, so they came with les-paul controls, carve top, hotpaf pickups, and a big fat neck.
my maxon OD 808 really DOES make poop sound good

well, i've got two ibanez S and an RG so i've got an idea of what you mean, but i'd not call "baseball bat neck" a gibson 60's... it's quite slim, infact... maybe a 50's! but i love "meaty" (but not fat) necks so maybe it's me...  :)

Gotta be my Ibanez J-custom (RG8420ZD '08):

and a a live shot showing the color in a different light:

The neck is a dream. Not too small, and has a nice satin/natural finish. Missing some BKPs, though! ;D Have to fix that soon.

very nice! the leaves on the fretboard look definitely better without the other naive features of the jems! i had dimarzio/ibz pickups on an sa prestige and changed them almost immediately... maybe the worst pickups i ever played with!

This one has Seymour Duncans (custom5 & jazz), and they're OK, but I'm definitely looking to upgrade :)

This is my joint fav......

2002  Gibson Historic '59, not a hollow Cloud 9 version either!  It's regarded as a Brazillian fretboard model even if Gibson refuse to qualify it (1 Guitar tech and 3 luthiers seem to concur, so it's not just me).  It's only 8 and 1/4 lbs and is an absolute tone monster, widely regarded as possibly the best '59 in the country  (from a number of the big stores on Denmark Street when I was trying to get a valuation for insurance.......a customer in Vintage and Rare wanted to buy it off me immediately for silly money, but I wasn't selling)

The dumb thing is the fact that my other fav is my Legra doubleneck which Bob has back for a few alterations and modifications, and now I have my new Legra and my LP Custom flametop I'm actually considering parting with this :(

I must be nuts, but to be honest it's such a suberb guitar I don't actually play the thing.  I keep it permanently in it's case whilst everything else sits on hangers or stands around the house so I can grab and play when I want, and now the wife and I are considering a family something might well have to go to bring in some money before the patter of tiny feet.  In moments of cold, calculated fact I know that this makes sense, because at the moment it's a very beautiful piece of art rather than a guitar......then I get all sentimental and say that I'm not going to sell it as I'm too attached to it! :D
Make it idiot proof and someone will make a better idiot!

Don't sell it... I had a '92 NAMM show built by Tom Murphy.. no 8 of 10 to launch the historic series. I won't go into all the details but I sold it...wish I hadn't it was my dream guitar. Anyway, I wouldn't sell... this WAS mine :(

Very nice man. Pics like those make me consider white pups for my Ibanez as well, although I'm not usually a fan of them :)
