Interesting that you're loving the Mira X Phil - after all your doubts!
It's such a great little guitar, Dave! I was very worried about the "African basswood" because I really disliked a basswood MIJ Strat I once had - it sounded thin and dull. But the PRS isn't basswood at all, it's obeche, and it's amazingly lively and resonant. Just playing unplugged it sounds so good, it makes me smile! On top of that, the 22-fret wide-fat neck is much more comfy than the thinner 24-fret on the regular Mira. I feel much more "at home" than on my other PRSes, to be honest.
It was instant bonding with this one! :D
