I started to watch it and the first one to come up was Kirk Hammet, so I closed youtube.
Kirk Hammet is an average guitar at best and to be honest thats being kind.

Fair play, he does say "The top ten guitar players as voted by me" and "The top five guitarists ever".

It's just his opinion.  And no mention of them being alive or dead.

I agree wholeheartedly, but I fear this course of conversation generally escalates once protective Metallica fans get involved. Perhaps on this forum things will stay civil  :)

That was magnificently random and amusing

Ah, fair enough, I didn't bother watching the video, just read the bit at the side.  My apologies.

Even the most protective Metallica fan is going to admit he's average, like. When he's good, he's very, very good. When he isn't, he's flat bloody awful. For every Blackened or Master Of Puppets, there's at least one utter clunker, or worse, utterly tired retreads of his better moments (in fairness agin, though, that's as much the whole band as him. Songs do not need sequels).

Add to that, I just don't trust peoples what don't dos rhythm guitar. There's something fundamentally wrong about that.
Evil, Evil, Evil...
