Whiskey is just the best drink ever. After trying a quite a few over the years, I tend to buy the Islay single malts. Can't stop getting Ardbeg at the moment!  :D

Whisky is, but whiskey is rubbish.

Well spotted, that's the other stuff!  :)

As a slight aside, I could easily live without alcohol but I'd be absolutely mortified if I couldn't have nice coffee  :(

Ditto, but I could make do with bad coffee - or even tea.  It's the caffeine I need.

It's flavour for me.  Gotta be the good stuff!

I love tea! I have a huge mug just over a pint which needs 3 tea bags of Assam.

I take coffee to work with me in a stainless steel flask which I make in a cafetiere. I use Percol Americana, Sainsburys Java and sometimes Lavazza as its good value. I have to drink it all by early afternoon or it tastes like cr@p. The Java one is so strong, but i'm up at 5:00am and one or two of those around 8:00 really gives you a boost.
I've tried a few different coffee shops. I'm not that struck on Starbucks, mainly cos I prefer the old cafes London had before this globalisation of our high streets, city and town centres.

I could easily go without coffee, but life without tea would be horrible :( I dont get a boost out of coffee/caffeine for some reason, only drink it for the flavour really.

The main thing I can think of is spending time with my girlfriend - we were inseparable for 2.5 years (i.e. together every day, for the majority of the day), but since she's gone to Uni I just haven't seen so much of her. She's a very busy lady it seems.

The Discovery Channel - every time I spend an hour in front of it I feel like I've learned something and/or I've been on holiday to somewhere exotic.

Old-Skool DOS games. Commander Keen. Jazz Jackrabbit. Duke Nukem. Jetpack. 'Nuff said.

Steak. Rare. With Caesar Salad

Discovering GREAT music, that for some reason nobody seems to have heard of?

Audio gear in general. Just playing with it; anything that creates or processes sound is FANTASTIC to me. There's nothing more fun.

Sun.

playing tennis - yes, unusual for a guitarist, but I used to be very good back in the day and still enjoy playing a couple of times a week and for my uni team...

thats one of the next things on the list, i wanted to sort out the venue first... we think we have decided on food, its probably going to be a jacket potato van :)   a normal basic buffet will cost about £10 a head.... or we can have jacket spuds for £3 a head.  considering one of my friends had fish and chips and had to pay £16 a head i am very happy with a spud!!

We very nearly had a hog roast at ours.

Have a look at Cape Verde for the big holiday, it's where we went for our honeymoon (after a week in Sufolk) and because they were just opening up direct flights there, it was still quite cheap...... and bloody hot...... and there were help yourself beer taps dotted all around our hotel
Advice worth what you just paid for it.

I dont get a boost out of coffee/caffeine for some reason, only drink it for the flavour really.

Same here - at uni years ago I used to take strong black coffee (Original Nescafe, two heaped teaspoons!) as a bed-time drink!

Steak. Rare. With Caesar Salad

Oh YEAH!! One of our favourite meals :D

Yeah, I drink coffee just before bed too.  I don't get a caffeine boost, what I do get is a blinding headache if I go for more than about 12 hours without caffeine.  :(

(But rare steak.... ugh!  :x )

On that we shall have to disagree!  I went through a phase of "trying" rare/medium steak because that's how you're "supposed" to have it, but I just don't like it.

Now on the rare (see what I did there) occasions that I have steak, it's back to Nuked and never mind what the snotty waiters think!

rare steak gives me the shitees  I have to have it medium at least. Steak with salad though? Thats just wrong. You need potatoes with it!
