NGD - sort of
« on: February 01, 2009, 10:34:04 AM »
Morning all,

It's more a new guitar month really - only just got round to taking some pics. Thanks to Dave (Twinfan) for selling me the Signature LP. I admit that I took a risk in buying it as although I love the look of them I have never got on with LP types.

Not sure what it is but I find this one easier to play than any LP or LP clone that I have ever owned or played. In the past I have owned a Gibson LP Standard (for a few hours at least!) and an Epiphone LP Standard - I have also tried many, many different ones and never found one I got on with. I guess I got lucky with this one!

Here is a pic of it settling down with my guitar family:

1970s tele - all original apart from frets and nut by Feline.
Signature LP - currently non BKP loaded but one day will be!
'57 Reissue Strat - with BKP Apaches

I told you matey, that ones a great one!  Best LP I've ever had or played, and it's only the realisation that I just can't get on with singelcuts that made me sell it!

Looks great withthe collection, you just need an SG now for a 'full house'  ;)

I love your Fender. A nice simple collection.

Are Signature LPs chambered? Or are they heavy as anvils?

I must admit that I don't know  It doesn't feel too heavy though!

The Sig's are not chambered, and they're not too heavy either  :)

You say that now but it could have been different if your name had, in fact, been Adam.
