ARGH! We had a band coming from all over the country on Saturday to record for a Uni project, but I've just got an email from the university saying that they're closing it down from 2pm this afternoon until bloody Tuesday!
The band had bought train tickets and all sorts.
LOVING the Mules!

Good ol' snow, my road hasn't been gritted and is basically an ice-rink. Not looking forward to driving down to work in a few mins..

Built this one last year, it was just under 8ft:

My cousin Will leaning on it, and my mate riding it (he knocked the tip off to get up!)

I'm bored of snow now  We had a load of house/flat viewings today and had to walk for ages through snow, ice and muddy slush :( Shoes are soaking now. Ah well, the good news is we've put a deposit down on an awesome flat, I cant wait to move in next year, will be so glad to be out of uni halls :)

actually we spend less ordering from ocado/waitrose than we ever did wandering around morrisons, i tend to do a lot of impulse shopping if i go into a supermarket

It's snowing again  :D

We've had snow continually on the ground (at least an inch or so) since the first day now.
Advice worth what you just paid for it.

The rest of the world all had a good laugh at Britain, 5 million off work, schools shut and 3 billion in lost business.

I don't see your point, how much do you think it would cost to grit every road in England, and for every car to have 2 sets of wheels?

Probably a lot less than the 5 million people cost the economy by pulling the net curtains back an inch and throwing the towel in without making no effort what so ever to get to work. I cant stand spineless wimps. The supermarket workers manage it, so do hospital staff. If you have the figures that can prove me wrong then bring it.  :|
