I am interested to know just how `Tonefull`and `Strat like` the Trilogy`s are. The Harmony central reviews are very positive, but i would love to here from a Gigging point of view just how versatile they are.

                                                                                 Thank`s.....

Hi, welcome to the forum :D

I can't help that much, but having switched from Tx-special to ITs, I reckon you'll at least find that a BKP strat pickup seems more articulate and "breathes" more, than the TSs. I found that the effort I put in with my fingers (vibrato, whatever) gets rewarded more - it's really improved my playing in the tone department...

What the Trilogies do specifically, I can't really help, I'm sure someone can though! :D

Welcome from me too but I am afraid I cant' help either. I've no experience of Trilogies- I was going to suggest IT's but that would be from what I have read rather than what I have experienced and so would rely upon those on the forum who have them. Good to have another Strat player boosting the ranks.

I tend to go to `Harmony Central` for initial feedback on a prospective purchase, and the BKP review`s on the Trilogy `ticked all the boxes` hence my arrival at this forum looking, i suppose ?, for confirmation.
I find my `Apaches` love my Princeton Reverb 2 (20 watt/6v6) at full(ish) vol and just sing and bloom beautifully, the controlable feedback being held in readiness by the volume controle ( treble bleed cap essential!) and stiring up the hornets nest with the `magic handle`, prior to the great release. Ahhhhh........deep joy .....But!.  Is it just me or are publicans getting very twitchy over  volume of late ?.
,                      Enter the Marshall DSL50 (el34),a much maligned and missunderstood amp, highly versatile with a huge expansive and very musical  clean tone, that can be pushed over the edge by the right pickups. This amp can sound equaly as good at a sensible volume as it can pushed.  So.... Apaches, not enough push (with this amp), Texas Special`s, just not quite right, hmm ?. Low power humbuckers (9 & 8.5 ) Smooth, tight  and percussive and , suprise!, a very open and woody, wirey Strat neck or middle pickup sound with both humbuckers engaged. But lacks versatility. So........
The `Trilogy` suite?. On paper the specs look positively scary !, 15.5 11.2 etc. ,twice the power of the Texas Specials, so are they the solution ?. If the `Harmony Central` reviews are to be relied upon, then my search is over !.
