Yeah - he probably can. I just find stuff like this not musically interesting. Sure, it's an admirable skill he has developed and I can guarantee that I would never have the patience to get to that level. Will be interesting to see if he does post a 'soulful' style vid as his other stuff all seems to be about speed.

I disagree (by quite a lot  :o) - it has a tune to it! I think this thread shows that musical/guitary preference is horses for courses.

Yeah - he probably can. I just find stuff like this not musically interesting. Sure, it's an admirable skill he has developed and I can guarantee that I would never have the patience to get to that level. I'm not so sure can play soulful.  Those types of players often go "here's my soulful piece" and they hit all the right notes and bends, pull the right faces.... but the one ingredient lacking is soul.  Happy to be proved wrong though.

Going back to the original video, I really don't like that type of playing but it is fascinating to see how effortlessly his hands seem to just float around even though he's playing so fast.  There's an enormous amount of work gone into that.
