deftones.....tone?? nahhhh, no such thing my friend. go for a miracle man or a warpig if yu want bareknuckles, but it'll sound way too good to be deftones

Whats wrong with the Deftones? the Miracle man and Warpig are way too high gain for what you want. Go with something like the Nailbomb or Crawler.

I love deftones, and i think that their tone is awesome. I think he is commenting more of the fact that Stephen Carpenter hasnt got any BKP and that he would be geting getting far better tone with it.

I have nailbombs and a POD XT Pro which is close to Stephens setup so ill give it a go when i get a chance.
