I am constantly hunting for THE sound but my Warmoth soloist is sounding pretty good with a Holy Diver in the bridge. Here is a little of the solo from Avenged Sevenfold's Dera God song. Not normally my typr of stuff but this particular song with a solo which builds up is awesome ... so I thought I'd quickly have a go.
This is the Warmoth straight into my PC, using Amplitube X-Gear (2, Metal) with 3 tracks - rhythm left, rhythm right and the solo dead centre (although I have added a delay which is panned to one side).
Drums are Groove Agent VSTI and I havn't mastered as I would normally as I wanted you to hear the raw guitar sound.
