I've not taken the back plate off to check out the wiring, so I don't know how it's wired. I have a feeling it's like a 50s style LP is. Rolling back the volume keeps the highs OK.I switched one of my McCartys to this style wiring and it does the same thing. I'm not a fan of the treble bleed mod when there's a simpler solution!

They do like the big heels over at PRS, i think they used to be smaller but were increased for tone and sustain reasons, it looks lazy but its very intentional. its definately a feature or PRS's i struggle
