How the flip do you pronounce that?  "Alison O'Sullivan" or something like that, I guess?

Nice, but she seems to have twice as many teeth as a regular person, and they don't quite fit in her mouth.

In total honesty, Exactly how it's spelt :-P

Dave's not miles away. It's roughly "Aiveen Ni Sooliwan", but it kind of depends where you're from, too.

Saw pictures of this performance (over someone's shoulder, so I think it was her) in one of today's freebie papers on the way home on the tube...

er... I do...

Anyone know where I can find moving pictures of that posterior? (Doesn't need sound, might prove distracting...)

cheers, at least i wasn't miles away :D From what little irish i've picked up (i.e. none, just the odd vague idea of how to pronounce stuff), it actually does seem to be spelt pretty phonetically- just until you know how they spell certain phonetics, it looks really, really weird. But then that's the same with any language.

Playing cool SGs and writing better riffs than all of use helps. But that aside, she's great anyway.

Ha! My photobucket is playing up, that photo appears cropped to just her on there, but shows up with her pals here. Ho hum.

Her name is Liz Buckingham, the band is Electric Wizard. She's married to the chap on her right, though.

Thanks, I had no idea there was a woman guitarist in Electric Wizard!  I've been "aware" of the band for a long time, but somehow I never bought any of their stuff.

There's been a few lineups, she's been in the last two versions.

Witchcult Today is probably the best starting point for those less into doom. Then Dopethrone or Come My Fanatics.

There's some good first tracks.

Now, back to hot Doom Chicks!

Correct!

Good game.

EDIT: Dagnammit, can't find any good photos of the girl from Blood Ceremony.

I might have recognised her.

Heard some of their stuff and quite like it - and I can't resist the horror-movie name and imagery.

We put them on the other night with the Wizard, maybe the best gig I've ever been at, admittedly I was high as all hell, but easily the best I've seen EW and Blood Ceremony were fantastic.

Awesome old SG's through Plexi tones all night.
