Vote for next Paul Gilbert Reissue
« on: February 19, 2009, 10:47:27 PM »
I know that there are alot of Gilbert fans on the board so I guess that many of you may be aware of the reissue of the Jewel Blue PGM20th Anniversary.

But have you voted for the NEXT reissue?

As this is a case of Ibanez FINALLY listening to their consumers and releasing guitars that aren't simply black with rosewood boards, I think we should all participate to reinforce this change.

You can vote for the next historic PGM reissue before 20th March (GMT24:00) via the link below.

"The Fireman" isn't a reissue though... you young dudes can't remember the great days of Dessert Yellow Guitars with maple boards and Paul using a whammy bar...  :?

Or is it a case of Ibanez realising they have lost their way and need someone else to tell them what to do?

By the way, if you didn't already kn ow Mr Big are refoming this year.

They're all a bit meh but it's gotta be the 800 for me, Ash body is something you don't see every day with Ibanez, plus it looks great.
Laney, Charvel and BKP

Black covered Nailbomb that I want to trade for a Warpig/Riff Raff, PM me

I'm not crazy about any of them, but I voted for the PGM200 because of the pink DiMarzios.  And I quite like the PGM800 with the ash body.
BKPs I've Got:  RR, BKP-91, ITs, VHII, CS set, Emeralds
BKPs I Had:  RY+Abraxas, Crawlers, BD+SM

Yes, the Mr Big reunion is one of the more surprising reunions after a lot of the trash talk after the breakup but I'll be happy if they perform or record again with more of the fire of the first two albums... To Be With You may have been a No1 but it killed the pyrotechnics. IMHO.
