Some lovely gear there D1dsj, especially eye catching is the purple Yamaha S.G. gorgeous inlays and binding e.t.c.

By the way, what is that little amp ( with the e.q. sliders ) on the floor to the left of your Cornford stack ? - It looks very similar to my AAD Cub Jazz amp.   :)

Well spotted ! - It does look very much like one of the Phil Jones creations - but the logo has me puzzled.

Oh yes !  Thanks for the clarification - I can see what you mean now  .  :)

I am a very new convert to Phil's stuff - and so as a six string player - had not checked out his Bass 'back catalogue' .

Hey guys, didn't mean to hijack O.P! :o

Yes the Phil Jones briefcase... awesome little amp, very powerful for it's size...maybe capable of a small venue gig. The real beauty of it is the quality of sound, stunning sums it up nicely, and it's very nice with an electro acoustic too.

The SG3000 is a great guitar... my son has one too, I got it for him 16.5 years ago ... he's 17now. It was his 16th birthday present. Yes they are neavy, but I compared them to my mates L.P custom last weekend and the SG's are a little lighter!! :o

The double cut with P90's is a custom shop Gibson. Only ever seen 1 on ebay and that was ages ago, not the same as the newer ones.. it has a different body shape more like a Hamer, and the headstock is not typical Gibbo LP.

Ah, now that you've posted the pic I think that Gibson headstock does look familiar.  I've never actually seen a "real" one before though.  Very nice!  :)
