Pearl are known for making drums but I have a japanese LP copy made by them which is awesome. It was apparently made in the 70s in the same factory as the good Tokais etc from that era.

Only cost me £250 from twinfan as well and its my favourite guitar now :) Just needed a good setup and pickups. In all it cost under half the price of a Gibson LP Custom and from what I've played of those, is just as good if not better.

Carvin. They are the shite. They're not too well known over here in the UK as they are in the US but if you can get your hands on one they are fantastic. I love my DC135.

Depends what the range of your knowledge is. I'm sure some people don't know Tokai. And some don't know Caparison, etc.

I love my Agiles, and I've got 2 top end Corts which are awesome (OK, the licensed Floyd on the X custom sucked, but it's standard sized and I've got a replacement to put in this week, the neck however is KILLER!).

'Tanglewood' and 'Vintage' have turned out very well for me ( they are the ones sitting in the cheap seats ) .

I was also looking at the Hagstroms ( let's see a picture of yours please Badgemark ) - and of course the Peerless.  :)

Well I just got an Agile and extremely impressed with it. I can't believe it could even be close to as nice as it is for the price. I'm sure I will buy more of em. Also I have one Caparison and another on the way. They are fantastic guitars, unfortunately you can buy like 7 Agiles for the price of one Caparison :)
