OK, OK, I should've said "in the UK".

Even then, two of those are the ones with figured maple tops so they're a lot more expensive... and don't seem to sell as well.

Yeah that's always the case in the UK after Guitarist Mag do an amazing review.
Same with the PRS DGT, they are always sold in like 2 days when they appear somewhere in stock (nice ones).

Philly, now you got me back on 339 GAS  :(

Actually found a great pic, comparing it to a 335 and Les Paul:

that V looks fully horrible, and prone to getting destroyed.

this is a V i found today...

ALUMINUM BODY constructed of aircraft-grade material
WARMOTH HARD ROCK MAPLE WITH ROSEWOOD FRETBOARD
18% NICKEL/SILVER FRET WIRE
TUNERS by Gotoh®
GRAPHITE NUT from Graphtech®
GOTOH TAILPIECE

If i had the choice of only those two V's, id go with the chromed up aluminum one.

I love my Les Paul, id never get a gibson fresh from a store. id always go second hand.
ive been really tempted to save up for a feline lion though after seeing all the photos.
maybe its just gibson taking advantage of idiotic collectors. that robot guitar is horrible. and the darkfire is even worse.

im gonna make the 'ghost V', basically just a neck with no body. the V will be made of air. i just need to work out a hovering electronics systems.

I think Les Pauls' original Log wasn't too far off that!

Talking about Vs, what about the Reverend Volcano (Korina)? I think we haven't discussed about this one for a few weeks.

i don't really like asymmetric Vs unless they are the rhoads shape.

i think the holy v is a great look, thanks for comments though about the possible sound.

Gibson's designers need to cut down on the crack.

i quite like the look of the holy v.  it is a limited guitar of the month, and they do seem to be using that series to try out some fairly wacky ideas. what's wrong with that?  i've no idea what it would sound like, but i like it.

that V is quite sexy, even if i don't like Vs and i'm always dubious about non-wooden guitars... i've seen an iron les paul with a wonderful rusty look (not by gibson!), and i was tempted... thanks to god i haven't got all that money.
the darkfire is an awesome looking guitar, the problem is that i'd like a NORMAL les paul in darkfire finish... i hate electronics in guitars, and i hate even more to have the ability of smoothly merging different pickups... i want it as it has always been, damn!
Mule, MQ, Stockholm, CS, RY, MM, PK, ANB, CNB, AWP, CWP, PiG90...

too many? ;)

I really want one too! Vintage sunburst with 59 neck. I haven't found anywhere in central Scotland that sells them. Guitar guitr are only doing the 359, the blinged up custom version.

There's a world of difference between the Ferrari and holy V's!  The Ferrari doesn't have any holes, and has a wrap around bridge to help sustain.  I would think the holy sounds just the opposite - hell comes to mind!

what gibson should do, is make modern versions of their guitars. models with floyds, ebony boards, AANJs, 24 frets. then they'd actually appeal to the modern crowd.

They should do that instead of these GOTW stupid models, but I do like the classic models look.
