Question about trilogies/nailbombs
« on: October 12, 2005, 10:19:07 PM »
I was always going with the mothersmilk/crawler HSS set for my strat i'm getting, but lately ive been thinking about something with a little more power.

I was just wondering, for when i'm not widdling away, how do pickups like the trilogies and teh nailbomb clean up? and as well as heavier sounds, can they do more 'vintage' sounds too?
The large print giveth, and the small print taketh away...

my nailbomb sounds great with the volume rolled off and running direct into my amp (with just the JCM's gain) :D

The Nailbomb has a great clean tone.I used it on a acoustic style track and it sounded really warm and mellow but with great clarity.
Mule,Trilogy,Irish Tours,Holy Diver and Apaches.
