Warpig vs.HELLOKITTY Strat
« on: March 19, 2009, 02:53:04 PM »
Get a load of this-
 The ultimate abomination-
Squier 'HelloKitty' Strat

Custom made BK Warpig, purple/white(!?) Zebra HB PUp ( thanks Tim! )
Steinberger linear tuners in chrome
Custom HK "angry" scratchplate in 3mm clear acrylic w/graphic on the back
alu.treadplate cover on the back ( these last two pieces courtesy of Matt at aurora project- many thanks, mate! )
double shielded ( graphite paint & copper)
cts 500k audio taper vol.pot
switchcraft jack
Marvel Straplocks in chrome

This guitar gets more attention than all my one-off pointy metal guitars-
"I quit!"

I'm still saving up to do LED marker dots on the fingerboard and side of the neck-
"the nightmare continues..."

cheers from Drac/dk

Pink LEDs, I hope.

That looks brilliant, for ages I've been tempted to get one of those and put a VHII in it.
BKPs I've Got:  RR, BKP-91, ITs, VHII, CS set, Emeralds
BKPs I Had:  RY+Abraxas, Crawlers, BD+SM

Maybe a bit compared to the new price. I would pay £90 secondhand, though i suppose in a way delivery is included. i would definitely pay £100 if it included the matching hello kitty gig bag.

Rex Brown bought a Hello Kitty guitar and bass in the Glasgow city centre Soundcontrol a few years ago when Down were in town. The guys had got a couple photos with him but his manager wouldn't let him pose for photies with a hello kitty instrument

I got this guitar as partial payment for a job installing a ZVex FuzzFactory in  some guy's guitar-
started the project as a joke, then after the pickup, the angry face, etc., replacing virtually every component of the guitar, and setting it up, I love it.
Just have to close yer eyes- "Shut Up & PLAY!"

It even has green strings on it right now.

The Pink LED dot markers will be next, and perhaps a new acrylic angry face, with glowing eyes, or glowplate ala auroraproject-
these guys are great !

cheers , mates!- nefarious D.
