Haha, I'm only 5'6" (but I have a very low centre of gravity, so like a Weeble, I wobble but I don't fall down...  :P )

There's no shame in being 5"6, Matthew Bellamy is 5"6, Bono is 5"6, Thom Yorke is 5"6, and I'm 5"6.

Your officially part of the coolest club on earth!

Haha, no shame at all.... but I don't want Bono in my club!  :P

I'm willing to let the thread title slide if only to point out that Bono is in no way part of any cool club on this Earth whatsoever!

Best of luck getting the Esquire Ian  :)

Just got a semi approval (which in my book is a full approval) to buy so will be putting a deposit on tomorrow (fingers crossed)!

Got to say Ian,

If I was going to spend that money I would want to get it plugged in and give it a  good testing before I made any commitment to buy.   It looks a nice one good luck.

Cheers mate - I will be giving it a try plugged in before buying. I'm 100% sure it will be fine - it's the acoustic tone I look for in an electric before even plugging it in, this one has a very nice acoustic tone. My current tele is quite thin compared to it.

I'm convinced that good acoustic tone nearly always equals a great electric tone. Am I wrong?

Provided that the electronics (incl pickups) are okay, then yeah I'd agree!
