1 Strat, 1 Tele, 1 SG, 1 PRS, 1 semi, 1 LP Jr, 1 bass.... that's 7 already....

And let's be realistic... 1 of each?  It'll never work.
BKPs I've Got:  RR, BKP-91, ITs, VHII, CS set, Emeralds
BKPs I Had:  RY+Abraxas, Crawlers, BD+SM

I had the same thought today, get 2 or 3 essentially different, high quality guitars instead of the 1-2 dozen mediocre ones that eat strings like snowflakes melt in the sun.

2 or 3 ?!!!  :o

Noble sentiments, but I was thinking maybe 20 to start with...!

Ok, let's say 6 without acoustics...

6 Flying Vs you mean? Might be a bit too conservative...

I couldn't even include a V in my 6 (or 7).  :(

I thought that once - right after I received my first custom shop Jackson.  Well, to be honest I was actually thinking 5 or 6

Then I realised that my list didn't include an acoustic

or a 12 string

or a nylon string

or a bass

or a strat

or a etc etc...
BKPs: HD, MM, NB, PK, CS, Ab (b&n); Am (b only); VHII, Tril (n only); IT, Slow, Sult (m&n)

When I was once thinking about this I think that 13 was the least I could come up with (but that was before I got my 5 string bass, now I have 8 basses before I even think about guitars!

Precision
Jazz
Thunderbird
Rickenbacker 4001
Modulus Graphite 5-string
Will Scott custom S/A 5 string
8 String Warmoth
Fretless

Now that's more realistic!  Nice one Mr K!  :)

Philly, I hope I don't get the same feeling as you in the next few weeks!  I've been meaning to streamline my horde because there's about 4 guitars that I just don't play anymore and I really don't need them.  Plus I keep finding myself leaning towards superstrats with thin necks more and more.  On the block are a Jap Strat, two Jap LPs, and an SG std. :violin1:

I'm all for the whole one of each thing, but I've seemed to gone with one category. The super-strat.

But I do loves the super-strat.

For me it would probably need a minimum of: couple of super-strats, a les paul, a strat with 3 SCs, a H-S guitar and a telecaster

Then I'll be quite comfortable.
