Oh, I like BC rich stealth/jackson warrior/Ibby xiphos and jackson death angels as exceptions to my dislike of extreme pointiness.

Least favourite is hard! If I had to pick a winner, it would be....Dunno.

Right, my least favourite is officially "Most BC riches"

So many of them cross a line into such depths of hideousness that the reaction of my sense of asthetics is about the same level of revulsion; theres no point trying to fine tune it and say "I hate the beast more than the ironbird". Not worth the effort.

I am not keen on Vee's or any pointy guitars( Mr Bump expressed exactly how I feel). Metal guitars are not very pleasant for me but obviously we are all different and I realise that many love them and hate the more staid Strat, Tele and Les Paul's and Semis that I love. I am not a fan of headless guitars either for that matter.

It's gotta be this one:

I think thats silly, gimmicky and an un-imaginative sugar-hit for gibson sales, but its not immediately replusive

The mental image of the gibson fat cats trying to recall the granduer and vision of their predacessors sitting in a video conference using horrific management speak and deluding themselves that they know that THIS is exactly what the guitarist of today really wants is repulsive, but the guitar not so much.

Does anyone remember those dreadful things that were on display next to Felines Stand at the 2007 LGS? I wish I could remember the name, they were so bad. Red Plasticy dragons and castles. I mean did the bloke behind those designs actually expect they would sell? Talk about out of touch!  :x

Well it'll be of no surprise to anyone here, except maybe Fernando, that my absolute least favourite guitar shape is...

[Drum Roll]...

The dispicable, unfathomable, bulbous, cheap-looking, tacky, overly-simplistic, slack-jawed, limp-wristed utter hideousness that is the Telecaster.

I hate hate hate hate HATE HATE HATE HHHAAATTTEEE the telecaster.

And in VERY CLOSE second place are most BC Rich pointy things (as outlined above), and that wrong V/SG hybrid failure.

I'm not that much of a fan of the LP shape - I do prefer the top horn cut away, but at least in LPs it doesn't just look cack like it does on teles. And don't even get me started on that sh*tty headstock and god-awful control plate, bridge and pickup design. God it's awful.

Right, I feel a bit better now, off to murder kittens and strangle puppies before bedtime.

Yes indeed, as later echoed by Hunter - and alluded to by MDV ; given the price tag - and the wasted opportunity for genuinely aestheticaly pleasing /  fun  innovation, what were they thinking ?

I remain MUCH more impressed by that Pink, Warpig equipped  and customised " Hello Kitty " Strat I saw on here yesterday - and I am NOT  being facetious.   That ' Brootal ' Kitty was ( and is ) the mutts nutts compared to this concept.

Hate is a bit strong, but I certainly dont like them. I think in part its an asciative thing - I dont like how they feel on your lap, when hanging, or how they play.

All the metal angular guitars (though I like V's and Explorers), and also any guitars with sharp edges or points (Minarik Guitars especially make a lot of these).

WTF?

Were those guitars drawn in MS Paint!??!

They dont look real. At all.

But yeah, most BC riches - very silly, ESP Fs as well.

I also dont like Vs. King Vs are better, but still irritating.

I dont like les pauls or SGs, asthetically or for playing.

Or PRSs, again, in both categories.

And, of course, teles.

Actually, about the only shapes I do really like are strats, superstrats (fav) and explorers (2nd).

I really quite like the ESP F - Especially the F7 with the sanskrit inlay. Really cool guitar.
My last FM.
ESP Horizon NTII.
ESP Viper Camo.
ENGL Screamer.

strat headstocks just look absolute awful to me

the headstock on an explorer doesn't look right either, they should just cut off the extra wood after the tuners and it would look miles better in my eyes

Theres jus something about it that makes it look like a goth kid - its trying to be all mean and tough and evil but really it wet the bed till it was 14, has never had a girlfriend and is terrified of pretty much everything.
