Great Phil, I', jealous now. Saw that auction, was the guy who insisted on local pickup, right? Always the same with those UK people, they don't wanna deal with continentals - good for you then I guess :O)
Although I might "explore" jazz chords on that thing, I'd be playin dirty blues and r&b stuff on it meself (possibly cranking it up to "Fiery Ted" regions when the mood took me :lol:)
the '57 Classics are fine and I don't fancy trying to replace them just yet.
