Hi. I have an ESP MII NTB with neck-thru, alder body and rosewood fretboard with emg's 81 and because it has only a volume knob, i want some different sounds and heard of these barenuckle pickups(i thought of replacing the 81 on the neck and put in a 85 or 60 but maybe these passive barenuckle ones are the better way to go). For metal and shred style like satriani, petrucci, vai, what should you recommend? I want high output on the bridge position with definitoin and punch. For the neck position and because i can't take out the highs and treble because i don't have a tone knob, i want a melodic pickup with nice cleans and warm and smooth distortion on leads, petrucci style if you know what i mean.
