NGD: a white snake

I MUCH prefer the viper shape to the standard SG shape, and that white one is a really clean looking guitar.

My own guitar took a few aspects from the viper in its design.

Personally, I would steer clear of pickguards. I mean, are you really so inept as to miss the strings and hit the body *below* the strings???? I seriously have never, ever understood pickguards! They seem to serve no useful purpose!

They're not for when you miss the strings, Roo, they're for when you strum too far over them :lol:
This can happen quite a lot in a live situation when you're really rocking out.

Aha! I think that's the artist sig I was thinking of. Quite like it (and I think that place do that guard also), however I'll be leaving mine guardless.

Like it!  I love SGs anyway, but the way they've subtly modified the shape and made the body thicker is very neat.  I'd like to try one one day.

I can easily mash a 3mm pick in a gig - and I once mashed my hand up and still have bits of flesh jammed in the bridge of my ibanez, so I definitely know what rocking it out live means, but seriously - how do you overshoot by THAT MUCH?! :D

Pretty much the same as the red one over the page, a fraction over £300 delivered. Both were from ebay. The red one was newer and pretty much looks like it'd never been played. The white one has a small ding on the headstock and had a cracked pup ring. The ding you can hardly see and the pup ring I replaced. Otherwise it's pretty much mint for a 2005 guitar. No real fret wear or anything.

I like the Ltd 400's because they're the MIK ones, mahogany and don't have abalone vomited all over them like the 1000's... Oh and they're cheap as chips. 300's are good also but will be older. The new 401's are no longer MIK, no idea what they're like.

It's got nothing to do with being an actual guard lol, unless we're talking about the lespaul or other floating types :)
 
It was so the electronics could be made seperate to the guitar thus made in mass and attatched later.
