What a nice post, hunter. I can only join the rank of thanks sayers.

What amps and guitars impressed you the most and why? I would like to hear more about that.

The amps that impressed me most were:
Egnater Renegade for being an amazing amp in a total package for relatively low $$. And Bruce Egnater for being the great guy he is - extremely customer oriented and skilled.
This Cicognani Brutus Live because it sounded awesome for a "Toaster" amp. Never heard of them before and they have a load of stuff, a full MIDI controllable tube head too (which I didn't hear).
Bugera because they are so cheap and sound good.

I played the Marshall Haze mini stack but it wasn't really great, it sounded Mini too.

Guitars: PRS was the hit for me. Probably because I just bought one. And I really love the look of some of those ESPs.

are you sure? the "old" hetfield signature costed about 3000$...
nice guitar, though, even if hetfield doesn't mean anything AT ALL to me. i can't tell for sure case the picture looks quite blurry, but i'd say that anyway i prefer the blonde behind it... ;)
Mule, MQ, Stockholm, CS, RY, MM, PK, ANB, CNB, AWP, CWP, PiG90...

too many? ;)

"The ESP Iron Cross has a street price of $9999.00"

Ok, so I was wrong, but it's still pricey.

It's the impression I always get from watching clips of Bruce

they look awesome, and i bet they sound at least good too... layout is very similar to JSX and XXX models, but it looks definitely better.

I never before heard about http://www.cicognaniamps.com but gotta say, their little Brutus Live (2x single ended class A toaster style amp with 5 sounds) is amazing, from clean to crunch to lead. These have been around for a while and I am surprised noone talks about them. Check the vids on their site!

Brilliant/hysterical video clip of the Brutus here
I'm both impressed and laughing out loud at the  guy demonstarting it(donato begotti) - such enthusiasm!

Yeah the guy is amazing. He's also been the one demonstrating in Frankfurt, and he is really like that. Either he enjoys the amp so much, or he just enjoys himself so much :O)
