Anyone tried V-Picks?

Who has used/is using them? I read some good stuff about them elsewhere.

Anyone got any experience?

I've seen them before and out of all the "boutique" type picks they really interest me..

Too bad they are hard to find in the UK.  :(

I tried them.

The small pointed was okay but I still prefer the Jazz pick.
The rounded ones are not my cup of tea at all. I found it difficult to get a great tone on single strings as they seemed to slip over the string to easily.

i got some of the glow in the dark ones.  good for entertaining children, but i didn't get on with them at all.

I see an issue in their business model seeing as the case costs less than most of their products individually.

Why would I want to spend an inordinate sum on one plectrum when I can have twelve of them for less than the cost of one?

Uhm, i did not notice anything such.
Some of the picks are insane!!!

11.85 mm thick!! If it didnt cost 30 bucks id try one out  :o :lol:

^That one sounds like something someone would give you as a novelty rather than something you would use seriously. 3mm is plenty.

Well, how about getting one of those that glow in the dark then? Should be easy to find, just turn the lights of, and should be great for finding them on a dark stage.

... got a small pointed 2.75mm, small pointed thin, HAD a glow in the dark small pointed but I lost that unfortunately... and a psycho (5.85mm). Coming from Jazz III's and more recently the Ultex Jazz III's, I really dig the small pointed ones as they seem to be "shock-resistant" on the wrist. As for tone... I like it as it's different.
When it comes to the psycho, I have to "really lighten" my picking to get the same attack I get from other picks.
Before I lost my glow in the dark, i lent it to a friend who played at a venue with black lights and it glowed throughout their set!

I do care about the types of picks I use however forgive my skepticism- quote from website description 'Huge tone. Creamy highs, fat bottom end. Very fast action.'
