The indented 'Drive' control on my Fulltone Fat Boost crackles. Apparently something to do with the FETs re-biasing as you turn it. Couldn't be the same thing could it?

Could be Indy. The boost has a seperate fet but doesn't crackle but then it doesn't have any real overdrive, just more volume while the first drive fet wich is controled by the knob is there for the overdrive. I don't know much about that stuff.

To me the Box Of Rock (clone) feels and sounds more like an amp than a pedal but you do have to dig into the strings a little to get it to sound lively.

got mine yesterday... i think i was playing with it for about 2 hours which is the most i have played in a while.

i like it - it feels really intuitive.  the crackle isnt really an issue
