basically it wasnt really intentional.
have you ever seen hardcore 2 stepping?
well, i mean, i've gone to shows for a long time and i know its origins and trends, so i know where it kind of stems from, but its very silly and i think its better to just dance how you like than do some wacky swinging leg stuff in unison. so people were jumping about like convulsing chickens and i was just bobbing along to my mates band and doing my own thing like i was in some jazz or blues club just grooving along, swaying to the music, haha.
(basically if you search for the song 'show me your gentials' on youtube, i was dancing like that guy does in the chorus)
Then my mates band played some WILD riff, and i got bored of wacky dancers and decided it would be completely acceptable to jive out on the spot with my arms out (like jarvis c0cker pretending to be jesus), shortly before busting round into a windmill of fists and smashing some bearded dude right in the face. he took offence to this and shoved me, but i didnt care.
I also got hit by my vocalist dancing to the same band. he's ignorant haha, he's knocked peoples teeth out before. one of those people being the singer from bring me the horizon. hahahah
sounds violent, but if you take that, and multiply by ten, then you get the mosh pits we saw in the USA. just people being straight up punched in the head in time to the music. people stood out the way. but it was all tolerated because thats just how it is.
im not going to argue for or against it. its just something that comes watching particular bands.
