Raw nickel covers are simply unpolished nickel covers. I guess raw nickel ages faster because there's nothing to slow down the oxidation process, whereas aged nickel is basically raw nickel that has been oxidized to a certain point, hence the aged look. I'm not sure if this answers your question, though. On a slightly related note, I do have some pictures of my bridge holydiver which is aging nicely. I can post pictures of it new compared to how it looks now if that'll help.
