Seriously now; I just noticed that Steve Vai has released "Naked" versions of a lot of his material.  These are basically the tracks with the lead guitar removed to use as a backing or jam track.

I read about those tracks in Guitar World.  Great idea, but way beyond me.

Vai has got a great sense of humour. He's the sort of guy who might have a laugh putting out a (semi) naked calendar or something like that.  Oh dear, If he sees this thread, it might give him some ideas !!!!
