I've decided to disconnect my internet access from my guitar room so that I am not tempted to do hours of browsing with a bit of mindless noodling thrown in. Yesterday was my first day of this 'experiment' and I spent at least 2 hours playing. This is a record for me.

The only annoying thing about it is that I decided to try and transcribe Gone by The Black Crowes,I got the chords okay but one 8 second section of the solo took me about an hour to figure out!!!

I'm connected so I can download Guitar Pro tabs, but when I absolutely love a song I can spend a good four hours practicing it if I'm really determined to get it right.

Last song I spent ages at was Silent Night, Bodom Night by Children of Bodom. I'm really into Bodom songs right now.
