Ok i need a noisegate, or rather id like one to tighten up my sound a bit.
so far ive come across just 2
Boss Stompbox noise gate
And
Rocktron Hush pedal.
Has anyone tried these or any other noisegates, or can give me some advice on this subject?

I tried out the MXR Smart Gate whilst on holiday in the States during the summer, and thought it was pretty good. I decided not to get it only because I thought saving for new pickups was more important (well, that and a new wah pedal :)).

I used to have the Hush in a rack mount and it worked very well. I haven't tried it as a foot pedal though I would think it is the same.
