i just got back from Germany
« on: April 26, 2009, 06:21:17 PM »
Essen to be exact.

First time out with the soldano and the x pattern cab.
awesome! also used my parapedal clone, which i need some practice with.
who day was awesome. someone jumped on all my pedals and cut me out, but someone else plugged me back up.
my friend stopped my 4x12 + head from being tipped over.
my JCM800 wont turn on anymore. it squealed and died. not yet investigated that one!
awesome.
i love germany.

Hey dude.

That's good to hear, although it sounds a bit crazy for my personal taste :) Sorry to hear about your Marshall. But at least the Soldano is working out for you. :)

soldano is working great.
still aint looked at the JCM800.

what happened was our other guitarist plugged in, turned on, and it squealed like banshee, then he turned it off, i came over for a look at what he was doing, changed the impedance on the back to 4ohm and put it in the 4ohm input on the cab, rather than 16. and then it wouldnt turn back on at all. im hoping the transformers are ok.

nothing out of the ordinary.
i checked that. also had a NS-2 on before it with really hard settings.

in the end we borrowed a 900 SL-X and changed a guitar cable, that squealed once, but then it was fine. so im not sure if the problem with squealing was a cable, and then something else hurt my amp.

i had a look to your page... awesome songs! i also like very much your singer, he somehow reminds me of death's chuck schuldiner mixed with slayer's tom araya and kreator's mille petrozza... in two words, kicks ass!

I had a good listen to your bands music too, I like it too. I could do with some big riffage music like that in my truck at work.

thanks man!
im trying to write our LP write now.

i got 8 BIG riffs, but developing songs around them is hard work. im not well either and i dont have much time. so it been hard going.

artwork for is being done, its looking cool and it has a title. gonna be a press of 2000 12" LP's with a gatefold sleeve.

just need the music to be as good as the artwork. :S
