It sounds spot on Tim. I can't wait to get my Charvel modified by Jonathon with the M/M and Trilogys. I went to my local guitar shop in Palmers Green this morning and jotted down the URL for them as I feel they are missing out on the action. Their not hungry enough any more in a way as they have been at it for years and dealers can get a bit jaded but hopefully as I was bursting with enthusiasm they may get up to speed!

I love what you the BKP team have done for guitar players with your work. It makes you proud to be British!

Keep spreading the word, why are shops and guitarists so backwards when it comes to new brands?  Especially without a review....at least now BKP has a Gold award we should start to see more of them!

$%&#, this pickup reminds me of the Seymour Duncan JB in Megadeth“s CD Rust In Peace. but more "AIR" Sound .
is that possible to have a Miracle Man , nailbomb, the mule or warpig in Alnico II with the same tight and Solid Bass response? and retaining the articulation under HIGHHHHHHHHH GAINNNNNN situations?

Absolutely not, Alnico II is totally incapable of driving high gain pickups, all you'd hear is a dull mush. That's why I spend so long voicing them, so I know what does and doesn't work.
As a general rule, once you're over DC14K Alnico II and Alnico III are no goes, even Alnico IV can struggle if the wind isn't right at these kind of resistances. This is where Alnico V and Ceramics come into their own as they have the power to drive higher gain pickups.
As with all things there are acceptions but gemerally the above applies.

Yep, I've been recommending BKP to people just because of the top class customer service, as I've not actually installed my Mule yet. People dont seem to want to spend £100 on a pickup that will sound superior to almost anything else..I dont get it :? I'm in the middle of trying to convince a metalhead friend to try a BKP instead of the EMG's he is after  :P
