The only flaw is with the pickup switch position, I would prefer it to be in the usual place but oh well.

Modify it wouldn't be very hard :)


You'd need a very long drill bit to make a wiring channel from the upper bout to the control cavity!

actually philly it would make more sense to drill from the neck cavity to the new switch position and then use the existing channels from there.

i still wouldnt recommend changing this guitar though

Good point.  It was staring me in the face really wasn't it?   :oops:

I agree with you though, I wouldn't change the guitar either.  Seems a shame after it's survived 30 years unmolested.

Serious, I've no idea about market value and if it's desired by the collectors, if it's not I wouldn't mind changing... The only one I saw here in brazil went dirty cheap on our "eBay" (would be something like £500 IIRC)
