I have a Zakk Wylde LP Custom which I plan to Customise by fitting Bare Knuckle Pickups and a Stetsbar.

I also plan to fit push pull pots so I can coil tap both PUPS and replace all the Switchgear and tone pots.

Any advise on a good choice of PUPS
Here's the Guitar as it looks now:

Firstly, the V+T controls are awesome! :P

Aren't the Miracle Man pups modelled of Zakks sound? Gotta have those trademark harmoics, but also the tight mids of active EMG's.

what kind of music d you play?

I believe the warpigs are firmly in zakk wylde territory, and they clean up well to apparently. You can even get them in plain black covers if you wish to maintain the aesthetics of your guitar.

Since it's a Zakk Wylde model, I'd go for a set of black covered Miracle Man pickups.

I did say "properly" which means I do get some sleep.
At the moment there is a lot of unwanted cr@p flying around in my head from work, life and general bollox so when I close my eyes it all goes mental :twisted:

It don't help that thoughts like "how tall would a Giraffe grow if it was born in zero gravity" keep popping up at 02.30! :lol:

No Probs, Vai prodced a set of CD's some of which are still not released, called the Secret Jewel Box set.
It's just a box to house them in. Also has a little compartment in the top where I keep my plecs, small screwdrivers & Truss Rod Wrencehs etc.

Just a Gimmick I guess, but we all love such stuff!!

As an addendum: I went to the Vai Gig at The Hammersmith Apollo this week, awesome Gig!! Anyone else there? :?:
