Bridge BK for a PRS SC-250
« on: May 13, 2009, 03:45:36 AM »
I ordered a Painkiller a few months ago and I LOVE it.  I'm looking
for another set of pickups for my new guitar and need a recommendation.
It's a PRS SC-250 (mahogany body and neck, rosewood board, maple top).  It's
a real even sounding guitar, not too dark or bright.  It's in Drop D.

I play mostly thrashy type metal like Lamb of God, Machine Head, Metallica,
Slayer, Megadeth, etc.  I'd also like something that will sound good for
hard rock stuff as well like the Foo Fighters and Disturbed.  Basically I
just want a nice tight low end, crazy screaming harmonics and a lot of
definition and articulation in the lows, mids and highs.  Maybe I'm just
looking for another Painkiller but I thought I'd see if you'd recommend
anything else just so I could mix it up.  I was looking at the Miracle Man
and the Warpig (ceramic maybe?) but I don't know.  Thanks!

I was actually thinking Nailbomb, Miracle Man as a second choice.
Black Dogs

Previous BKP's: Riff Raff, Holy Divers, Painkillers, C. Warpig, Nailbomb, Miracle Man.
