The originals had 4 coil humbuckers but the later ones went to regular 2 coils. It came with maple or rosewood neck and wasn't that expensive when new, but now seems to be having a bit of a comeback. There were also 2 versions of it, I think a deluxe and the standard. The deluxe had a normal 3 way switch, black epoxy pickups and strings through the body.
