Any of you going to this by any chance? If I seem to recall there are a few here into their motorsports (or is it just motorbikes for you lot?) so maybe..

If so I will be filling in for one of the guitarists in my old cover band, should be a good gig! Biggest I've ever played at least, seems like quite a big event. Heres the setlist btw, though its not in order

Gig was awesome, easily the best I've done. We were in a tent type thing, by the 2nd set it was absolutely packed. Had a security guard and everything   Oh and crowd pic from the stage:

Indeed, somehow I wasnt even nervous about it even though its so different from any other gig I've done before (and I had to wing it with a few songs as I hadnt learnt them properly). Only thing that annoyed me is that my amp sounded really bright for some reason, had the treble on 0, presence on 3 and it was still pretty bright/cutting. Did sound better than the other guitarists though, who borrowed a 2nd 4x12 to have a full stack. Sounded cr@p

£80 as well, such easy money! Shame playing covers is so tedious when you do it for more than the occasional gig

Is it just me though, or is drag racing the most pointless motorsport ever? Seen one you've seen them all. The jet car was pretty epic though, I didnt see it but heard and felt it, the thud from the engine/jet thing was huge haha

Only just seen this.

My folks went, the last time they went drag racing was about 35 years ago.  Don't think they stopped for the gigs though, they were probably back in the caravan getting stoned and drinking bacardi (they're determined to grow old disgracfully).
Advice worth what you just paid for it.
