Info on an odball vintage amp please?
« on: May 16, 2009, 06:15:17 PM »
Anyone familiar with the CMI brand of amps?

Google tells me they were part of Norlin but not really any more info than that.  On the back of the head it says cmi california el monte sg 100 g. Only mod I'm aware of is it's been modded to take el34s rather than the original 8417 valves. Anyone got an idea what it's worth?

It looks like this but just the head part

I'll get the price on monday and I'll get to try it out too. Apart from the mod it's in amazing condition.
